Happy New Year friends!

It's that time of the year again that Instagram is taken over by the makenine challenge, an original idea by Rochelle of  LuckyLucille and the @homerowfiberco. The idea behind makenine is to help makers to evaluate our motivations and needs for working towards specific things as the year goes on. Rochelle even put together 9 questions to help us with our pattern choices.
Long story short I decided to take part in this challenge with 18 makes, 9 sewing and 9 knitting ones.

my #2018MakeNine sewing Edition

My choices from top to bottom left to right:
1) Tamarac Jacket by grainline studio
2) Datura blouse by Deer and Doe
3)Archer button up by granline studio
4)Washi dress by Made by Rae
5)Rosa shirt dress by Tilly and the Buttons
6) Jamie jeans by Named Clothing
7)Cheyenne tunic by Heyjunehandmade
8)Bleuet dress by Deer and Doe
9)Charleston dress by Heyjunehandmade

I have all the patterns and fabric for most of them so these are going to be stashbusting projects!

my #2018MakeNine knitting Edition

1) Este  by Justyna Lorkowska
2) Bentley Cardigan  by Marie Greene
3)Worsted Boxy by Joji Locatelli

I also have all the knit patterns and most of the yarn so I am good to go!
I am a slow knitter so I don't think I will be able to finish all of my knitting projects but hopefully this challenge will help me stick to my plans and not get distracted by all the new beautiful patterns.

Enough talking I have to start making ... see you soon
